Katilyn Chen has very quickly become a favorite amongst fans of the WNBA. Especially those who root for the Golden State Valkyries.
The 23-year-old is slowly starting to find her role as a pro and her minutes are slowly becoming more and more important for a first-year expansion team with playoff hopes.
As good as Chen might be on the court, it is the WNBA rookie’s quad muscles that most recently caught the attention of the league. Her teammate, Kate Martin, was the first to comment.
Kaitlyn Chen arrived to the game in a simple t-shirt and shorts. She does not subscribe to the player entrance walk that has evolved into a fashion show. It is all business, all the time.
Although her goal was to not draw too much attention to herself, the plan backfired. Chen’s legs were on full display. The definition in her legs is hard to miss. Her muscles were popping!

Martin had to point out the jacked quads in the comment section.
Your quads go so hard @kaitlyn.chen

Chen was not thrilled with the additional eyeballs.

Fans also took note. They were in awe of her muscles. She never skips leg day!!
Kaitlyn Chen is listed at 5-foot-9. The former UConn Husky is averaging 4.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game during her first seven games in the WNBA and shoots over 60% from beyond the arc. It is pretty rare for a third-round draft pick to make the roster, let alone play 15.7 minutes. She is off to a great start, all things considered.
There is a lot of time for the Golden State Valkyries to continue to develop their promising young guard and it obviously won’t be an issue to get her in the gym. Chen loves to hit squats and walking lunges more than anybody else in the league. All of the hard work clearly paid off!
