WNBA players are beginning to respond to Charles Barkley after he made some comments directed at them.
On Wednesday, LeBron James went out of his way to praise Caitlin Clark after she found herself struggling early in the WNBA season.
Barkley saw LeBron’s comments and trashed WNBA players for “hating” on Clark instead of thanking her for getting them chareted flights and more money.
“You women out there, ya’ll petty. LeBron you’re 100 percent right on these girls hating on Caitlin Clark, ya’ll petty girls. I expect men to be petty cause we’re the most insecure group in the world, ya’ll should be thanking that girl for getting you private charters, all the money and visibly that she’s bringing to the WNBA. Caitlin Clark thank you for bringing all that money and shine to the WNBA”
NY Liberty’s Jonquel Jones immediately fired back at Barkley.
“Interested to know who are all the women that are hating on CC? I’m seeing a lot of coverage about it but I don’t see the hate? I’m also not a big comment reader so I might’ve missed it,”
“Seriously…. wtf are you talking about….” said Sparks’ Dearica Hamby
Barkley will likely receive more backlash from the WNBA community over his comments but it doesn’t seem like he cares.
