It seems like the WNBA still has some things to figure out regarding their chartered flight situation.
Last week, the WNBA announced that every team would have chartered flights after the league partnered with Delta Airlines.

Unfortunately, some WNBA players still have issues with the current charter program.
According to Phoenix Mercury’s Sophie Cunningham, some teams are flying in bigger charter planes which creates a competitive disadvantage.
“We are so grateful to be able to start chartering, but with that, there’s a lot of things that need to be adjusted.”
“Other teams get big planes…our bags and other people can’t fly with us because our charter is too small…we want to talk about competitive advantage well that’s one right there, that our team has to be split out and that our bags don’t get to travel with us…half the teams don’t have a proper charter to travel with their whole team…so we are grateful but there is still work to be done.”
Sophie Cunningham spoke with the media during practice & explained how the team didn’t charter to LV but will postgame.

The WNBA is still early in their chartered flights program and will hopefully workout issues players have in the coming months.
