Rickea Jackson is one of the top young stars in the WNBA. The Tennessee product, who went fourth overall in the 2024 draft, was named to the All-Rookie team in 2024 and is equally well known for her drop-dead gorgeous looks. On Thursday night, Jackson stole the show at the 2025 NFL Draft when fans spotted her alongside fellow Vols star James Pearce Jr.

The Atlanta Falcons traded back into the first round and selected Pearce Jr. with the No. 26 overall pick in the draft. When ESPN cut its broadcast to Pearce’s draft party, fans were shocked to see that Jackson was right there with him.

The Los Angeles Sparks star then added to the confusion when she tweeted, “Soooo I have a doppelganger. Wow.” Even was thrown off base by her ruse! But while Jackson may well have a doppelganger, this was not it. Jackson and Pearce Jr. are dating. In fact, they have been dating for a while. He attended the WNBA Draft alongside her last year and then posted a message on his Instagram page congratulating her on the moment.

News of Pearce Jr. and Jackson dating sent NFL Draft Twitter into a frenzy. More specifically, it sent dudes who, for some reason, felt they had a chance to date Jackson into meltdown mode.

Fell to my knees when I saw Rickea Jackson sitting next to James Pearce Jr on draft night,” one person wrote.

Oooo look at me. I’m James Pearce Jr, I’m good at football, I just got drafted, get to live my childhood dream, and got Rickea Jackson rubbing my thigh at the NFL Draft,” said another.

Talk about a crash out. Ultimately, it’s an awesome moment for Pearce Jr. and Jackson who got to live out their respective dreams alongside one another. Here at BroBible dot com we love love.
