Following his team’s win at WWE Survivor Series, Paul Heyman was being escorted to the backstage area along with Logan Paul. Despite being surrounded by police officers and WWE security, a young fan somehow was allowed to run up to Heyman and put his hands on the 60-year-old manager. Obviously stunned by the sudden presence of someone putting their hands on him, Paul Heyman responded by shoving the kid backwards and out of his path.
Heyman, Paul, and the rest of their team including Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Brock Lesnar, had just finished defeating the team of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy and Jey Uso. As a result, adrenaline was probably still pretty high as they made their way to the back.

Naturally, such a bizarre chain of events caught the attention of many WWE fans on the internet. Reactions to what occurred, however, were somewhat mixed.

Fans react to Paul Heyman shoving a young fan at Survivor Series
“Two wrongs don’t make a right… That kid learned a hard lesson in life… Heyman should’ve gently push him aside instead of doing what he did. Boundaries and spaces should be respected…” one person wrote.
“Parents need to teach that kid some manners,” someone else commented.
“No Paul Heyman was an a— hole pushing that kid,” one person argued.
“Lately so many security teams are just, standing around doing nothing. Like, why don’t you do your job?” another fan asked.
“Someone from security losing their job,” echoed another commenter.
WWE reportedly has no issue with Paul Heyman’s actions
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, “I’m told by WWE sources there was no real heat on Paul Heyman pushing a child out of his way at Survivor Series. There was more heat on security for allowing anyone to get to him.”
That apparently settled, now all WWE fans have to figure out is who the masked man was that attacked CM Punk?
