Don’t be surprised if the Kansas City Chiefs win a third-straight Super Bowl after adding Xavier Worthy. Patrick Mahomes is already throwing darts to his new toy and the quarterback-wide receiver connection is going to be a real problem for NFL defenses.

A team that won back-to-back championships with a fairly shallow room of pass-catchers somehow got even better!

Worthy is only 21 years old and only just began his rookie season but he is already the fastest player at his position— if not overall. The former University of Texas star broke the 40-yard dash record at the NFL Combine in March with a blazing fast time of 4.21 seconds.

Xavier Worthy is a cheat code!

Kansas City chose not to be patient during the draft and traded up four spots from No. 32 to No. 28 to draft another weapon for the best signal-caller in the NFL. Worthy provides an immediate boost to an offense that was not particularly explosive. Yes, I know how foolish that sounds considering that Mahomes threw for more than 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns en route to a ring.

However, when you really break down the stats

Travis Kelce went for 984 yards. Rashee Rice went for 938. And then it’s a huge drop off. Justin Watson finished with 460, Marquez Valdes-Scantling finished with 315, Noah Gray had 305. The list continues from there.

Adding Xavier Worthy to the mix gives the Chiefs another deep threat and Mahomes was already looking his way during the first day of training camp on Saturday. (What a ridiculous throw!)

Worthy is also more than just a go-route guy. He is also very elusive as a route runner and gave the defense headaches all morning.

The Buffalo Bills allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to draft Xavier Worthy. Think about that for a second.

It could end up being a huge mistake, and if day one is any indication, it will be a huge mistake!
