YouTube TV has finally struck a deal with Disney, but it’s unclear if prices will go up for subscribers.
On Friday night, Disney announced that after 14 days, they had reached an agreement with YouTube TV to bring back ESPN and their other networks to the streaming platform.

YouTube TV went on to release a statement regarding the deal.
“We’re happy to share that we’ve reached an agreement with Disney that preserves the value of our service for our subscribers and future flexibility in our offers,” a YouTube TV spokesperson told On3.
“Subscribers should see channels including ABC, ESPN, and FX returning to their service over the course of the day, as well as any recordings that were previously in their Library. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate our subscribers’ patience as we negotiated on their behalf.”
The Wall Street Journal asked YouTube TV if the price for subscribers would go up after the deal, and their rep declined to comment.
“A YouTube spokeswoman declined to say if the streamer planned to increase subscription prices as a result of the Disney agreement.”
It seems like it’s only a matter of time before YouTube TV jacks up their prices again.
