Jets Fans In Disbelief At Game-Losing Zach Wilson Interception

Life seems to never be fun for New York Jets fans. And, Sunday night’s 16-12 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, where the Jets’ best hopes were dashed by a Zach Wilson interception in the red zone with less than two minutes remaining, was just another chapter of heartbreak for the team’s fans.

With the team trailing 16-12, embattled quarterback Zach Wilson led the team down into scoring position to take the lead and get the Jets to 5-4. But, disaster struck, as it so often has for the young quarterback in his New York Jets tenure.

It was his first interception thrown in over 150 pass attempts. But, it was at the absolute worst time.

The Jets would get the ball back, but a heroic Hail Mary attempt by Zach Wilson would fall incomplete as time expired.

As expected, Jets fans were not taking the loss or the interception very well on Twitter.

“Most Zach Wilson thing ever. Most Jets thing ever. Who DIDN’T know that was going to happen?!” Jim Rome said.

“I’m at the point in my fandom where I truly don’t care about wins or losses anymore This s— don’t affect me irl. I laughed at the Zach Wilson Interception. Wasted a historic defense for the second straight year.” @JetsHateMe said.

“Jets should be ashamed of themselves. Once Rodgers went down, we all knew it was a matter of time before the season went to waste with Zach Wilson. Other teams were proactive and saved their season while the Jets stood around and watched. Infuriating negligence,” @OptimisticJets said.

Just another in a long list of heartbreakers for Jets fans.
