Zlatan Ibrahimović is one of the best and most fun athletes of his generation. The prolific striker has scored goals and made headlines at every stop in his career.
He has scored over 500 goals in his club career for huge clubs like Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, and Manchester United. He came to MLS in 2018 and scored an unreal 52 goals in 56 games for LA Galaxy, before returning to AC Milan for the final three years of his career.
Zlatan Ibrahimović never got Sweden to a World Cup, which may have limited his appeal to a lot of very casual soccer fans in the USA. But, he’s widely regarded as the best pure striker of his generation, which includes great players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modrić, and many more.
Zlatan is well-known for his eccentricities, as well. He often talks about himself in third person, has given incredible quotes to the media for years, and was the inspiration for the Ted Lasso character Zava.
But, after 24 years as a professional, Zlatan Ibrahimović has decided to finally retire.

And, in typical Zlatan fashion, he gave an amazing moment when he retired. Take a look at this.
Verona fans were booing Zlatan as he gave his retirement speech.
So, he decided to roast them:
“Keep booing. This is the biggest moment in your year seeing me.”
