Nike Released The New LeBron Soldier 12 ‘SVSM’ That Pays Tribute To James’ High School

It’s small wonder that LeBron James was once again the basketball sneaker king of the world in 2017. No other NBA player comes even close to getting the number of different styles and colorways than Nike puts out for their lead dog when it comes to selling shoes. (All he’s missing is his own distinct shoe brand.)

It was less than a month ago that we saw the new Nike LeBron Soldier 12 SFG sneakers in a camouflage silhouette. And just this past weekend, Nike dropped yet another new LeBron Soldier 12, this time called the “SVSM” which stands for James’ high school St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron.

This version of the Soldier 12 comes in white with the familiar green and gold accents that we associate with the Fighting Irish, a speckled midsole, Irish branding on the tongue, LeBron’s logo in gold on the heel pull tab, and the St. Vincent-St. Mary logo printed on the insole.
