The Best, Most-Satisfying And Highest-Paying Jobs For 2018

Did you never answer the age-old question of “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Now you’re all grown up and you’re stuck in some crummy job? There’s plenty of time to turn it all around and for you to get a great job that will compensate you with an outstanding salary as well as provide a fulfilling workplace. If you’re willing to put in some effort, you can earn a job that will be rewarding on multiple levels that you can work until you retire. U.S. News & World Report released their 2018 Best Jobs lists including the “100 Best Jobs” and “Best Paying Jobs.”

To determine what are the best jobs for 2018, U.S. News & World Report utilized seven factors including median salary, employment rate, 10-year growth volume, 10-year growth percentage, future job prospects, stress level, and work-life balance. Healthcare dominated the list, but software developer topped the list, the second time the tech job topped the list (2014).

The list used data gathered from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and for each measure, jobs received a score between 0 and 10. Here are the top 10 jobs of 2018, but you can see the entire 100 Best Jobs list over at U.S. News & World Report.
