Who knew that Game of Thrones was such a romantic TV show that it would cause the cast members to want to get married. Earlier this week we learned that GoT stars Kit Harington AKA Jon Snow and Rose Leslie AKA Ygritte would have their wedding this year during filming of Season 8 and would temporarily halt production on Game of Thrones so that the cast and crew can attend the nuptials. Now fellow Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner is engaged to boyfriend Joe Jonas.
The 28-year-old singer posted a photo of Sophie’s hand over his with the engagement ring in the shot. He captioned the Instagram engagement photo: “She said yes.” Turner posted the same photo on her Instagram with the caption: “I said yes.” Sorry bros, but it’s not like we ever had a chance.
Not much pressure on Jonas since the marital bar is set pretty low for the 21-year-old Turner. Sansa Stark has not been lucky in love on the TV show after being miserably married to Tyrion Lannister and Ramsay Bolton.
