Emilia Clarke Says She’s Down For A Lesbian Romance (Probably With THIS Character) On ‘Game Of Thrones’

Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton may have been the main hyped-up focus of Game of Thrones “Battle of the Bastards” this past Sunday, but Daenerys absolutely crushing the masters’ attempt at destroying Meereen was epic enough to send shivers down your spine as she rode Drogon through the skies. Unfortunately for Daenerys, her takedown was not only overshadowed by Bastardbowl, but also by the flirtatious vibe people were getting during the scene where Yara and Theon offered an alliance with her:

And while nothing has been confirmed to be happening between Daenerys and Yara romantically, that doesn’t mean that Emilia Clarke isn’t up for something new on Thrones:

Clarke, who plays Dany, claimed she was keen for the relationship to develop.

In a behind-the-scenes video posted by HBO, she said: ‘There’s mild flirtation, which is exciting to say the least. I mean, get rid of Daario bring on the ladies.’

There’s been plenty of lesbian and gay sex in Game of Thrones but there hasn’t been a central queer romance – yet.(via)

Key word: yet.

Make this happen HBO, we’ve only got a few seasons left of Thrones which means time is starting to run out: Brienne and Tormund versus Daenerys and Yara, which is the freakier hookup? Let us know what you think in the comments!
