Margot Robbie Refused To Lose Weight For ‘The Legend Of Tarzan’ For A Reason We Can All Get Behind

Ever since we laid eyes on Margot Robbie in The Wolf of Wall Street she’s held a special place in our hearts.

Not only is she very easy on the eyes, she seems like a pretty fun chick. Anyone who isn’t afraid to wield a tattoo gun while shooting the Suicide Squad movie is pretty cool in my book.

Before that movie comes out, however, Robbie appears in The Legend of Tarzan alongside Alexander Skarsgard which premiered this week. (That’s her at the premiere in London above.)

Turns out that despite Skarsgard undergoing a crazy intense fitness and diet routine to prepare for the role, Robbie wanted nothing to with anything like that.

Not that the producers didn’t ask. They did, in fact. She just refused and for a reason that only makes us love her even more.

“It’s the 19th century (in the film) – if she’s got a bit of weight on her, it’s probably a good thing,” she told Australia’s TV Week. “I’m not going to look thin just for the sake of it.”

However, the 26-year-old confesses she may have been “defiant for selfish reasons,” laughing she was “like a naughty school girl” as she ran off after work each day to visit a new drinking establishment in the British capital.

“It was my first time living in London properly and I wanted to try every pub,” she explained.

She was “like a naughty school girl” running off to the pub.

Yeah… let that sink in for a minute. Here, maybe this will help…

Told you that you’d love her even more after this story.
