Alright bros, strap in because you’re about to fall in love with Carly Pearce, one of the hottest rising stars in Country Music. She’s living in Nashville, her career is taking off, she’s got the voice of an angel, and she’s pretty easy on the eyes if you get my drift.
With Taylor Swift stepping out of Country Music for the past few years the industry’s been dominated by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, soon though there will be a third woman headlining shows all across the nation and her name is Carly Pearce.
And before the one or two bros out there who want to comment ‘everyone in Nashville knows this chick, bro’ I want you to keep something in mind: we have a pretty sizable readership these days, and I’m willing to bet that at least one of you bros have heard of Carly Pearce by now. Also, Nashville is VERY insular, so just because someone’s a rising star in Nashville it doesn’t mean that anyone has heard their name outside of Music City.
So what’s the deal on Carly Pearce? Well, last Summer she was named one of the ’10 New Country Artists You Need To Know’ by Rolling Stone, and since then she’s been touring around the country with the Eli Young Band, one of the hottest acts in country music.
Last weekend I had the good fortune to catch Carly Pearce open up for the Eli Young Band at the historic Joyland Country Music Club down here in Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida, and I’m hooked.
