You can’t judge a beer by it’s color but you can by this graphs. It plots the most common lager and ale styles by sweet/bitterness and fruity/maltiness. It’s the perfect way to start exploring outside your comfort zone. If you suck down Oktoberfest beers like ram piss, maybe try a Dunkelweizen. Sam Adams has a great one if you’re scared of German beers. Just find your favorite and pick a different style nearby. You’ll be amazed at how many great beer styles you’ve been missing.
