LOL. Just when you think Donald Trump 2016 slip n’ slide to the presidency can’t get anymore inane and dysfunctional, it does just that.
Today’s news, one that would seem hyperbolic, out-of-place, and borderline unconscionable in any other recent American campaign, is that his long-time campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has been fired out of the blue.
Lewandowski, if you remember, was not fired for grabbing a reporter by the arm and manhandling her away from his candidate. He was, however, charged with battery for that, charges which were eventually dropped.
But now, he’s gotten the axe. He was there with the Donald in the beginning, but that wasn’t enough to trump Trump’s children’s severe dislike of him.

Earlier Monday morning, Donald Trump and his adult children gathered for a regular strategy meeting at Trump Tower. Also present was Corey Lewandowski, the campaign’s embattled manager. According to one senior Trump staffer briefed on the meeting, “things went south for Lewandowski, and he was fired.” Shortly after, he was escorted out by security. Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign manager, is now fully in charge.
Lewandowski’s ouster was the result of a coup led by Trump’s children Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr., according to the staffer.
LOL okay whatever.
Paul Manafort, a recent hire, is now running his campaign. Manafort has a history of consulting with African dictators and other tyrants, so this shouldn’t be too much of a pivot for him.
