Expert Says ‘Mind Blowing’ Sex With Robots Might Be Addictive But Could Improve Your Sex Skills

I honestly don’t understand why sex robots are getting so much hype right now. Back on Halloween, I blogged about the next-gen sex robots from Real Dolls which are about to hit the market for around $15,000 a pop and promise to be the most realistic sex with a robot ever.

That was the first time I’d heard about these Real Dolls, and I’m guessing it won’t be the last because the Daily Mail is now writing about how ‘mind blowing’ sex with these AI robots might actually go on to make you a better and more adventurous lover in the bedroom. This all seems fine and dandy until they get to the part about how fucking these super sex robots might prove to be addictive:

Sex with robots is predicted to become so popular that it will eventually overtake human intercourse by around 2050.
An expert has revealed that robot sex will be ‘mind blowing’, and the bots could even improve your skills in the bedroom.
While there have been concerns that the sexbots will replace human relationships, Matt McMullen, CEO of RealDoll, a sex doll manufacturer, suggests that this is not the case.

Hold up! We’re only 34 years away from human-to-robot sex becomes more popular than human-to-human sex? So if I were to have a son today, in 34 years he’d be more likely to fuck a robot than a person? That’s seriously what the data is suggesting? I’m having trouble comprehending this.

Moving on:

Mr McMullen says that sex with robots could even help to improve skills in the bedroom, by making people less afraid to be adventurous.
He said: ‘Having sex with the robot is only going to help you with your skills.
‘It will get you to last longer in bed, try different positions and be more adventurous.’
But Mr McMullen suggests interactions with robots will go beyond sex, and men could even seduce, charm and chat the sex robot.

This seems like an awfully expensive endeavor that ultimately leads to men learning how to pick up women and be better in the bedroom. Both of those things are topics that have been covered exhaustively and there’s an unfathomable amount of advice out there in the world on how to become more charming and last longer in bed. Heck, there’s even an app that will help you last longer in bed. I don’t really see why anyone should spend $15k on a sex robot for knowledge they can gain for $100 at the Bunny Ranch outside of Las Vegas, or for free by actually engaging with other people in the world…But then again I’m not the type of person who will ever buy a sex robot, so I guess I’m not the target demographic here.
