It’s amazing that the lightsaber has become such an instantly-recognizable icon in pop culture that you can throw one to any random Joe on the street and they’ll instantly know what to do with it, i.e. start whacking your friends in the head with it while making “VVVVVVVSSHHH” noises.
Forreal though – some of these amateur Jedi are pretty badass with their sabres. I mean they’re no Obi Wan Kenobis obviously, but could they hold their own against that shitty little kid Anakin? Probably. A fucking muffin could beat Anakin in a duel though, so that’s not really saying much.
