Task Force Soldier Kills ISIS Fighter With Axe When Gun Jams In Covert Mission To Rescue Sex Slaves

A harrowing, yet heroic tale is coming out of Syria as a soldier used all resources that were available to him to kill an ISIS fighter. The story took place last month during a U.S. and British covert ops mission in northern Syria to free girls who were being held hostage by ISIS and forced to marry their fighters.

The soldier is a member of the Special Air Service (SAS), the special forces unit of the British Army. The sergeant, who is said to be an Iraq war veteran, shot one ISIS fighter when two opened fire on him. However, his gun jammed and was unable to shoot the other jihadist. The quick-thinking vet then used his combat axe and hurled a perfect throw. The lethal blow struck the terrorist directly in the skull and killed him.

The firefight lasted two hours and Delta Force snipers are said to have killed up to 10 jihadis, while the SAS assault team killed 15 jihadists.

The mission was a success and they freed the young girls who were being horrifically tormented. The conditions that the women were subjected to were said to be so heinous that some soldiers were reduced to tears. It is said that they women who refused to be married off to the Islamic State fighters were raped, dipped in acid or crucified, claim senior military sources.

“Members of ISIS had been in the area for a few months and had been rounding up pre-pubescent girls who they wanted to become jihadi brides,” one source said.

The women were saved and are said to be recuperating in a village nearby.
