If you’re ready to make online dating great again then it’s high time for you to check out the all new TrumpSingles.com, an online dating service for Donald Trump supporters. The entire point of online dating is to sync up with a like-minded individual that you can get naked with, right? So if you’re a Trump supporter wouldn’t you rather get naked with a fellow Donald Trump supporter instead of some Bernie Bot whose unwilling to accept that her candidate has lost and is relegated to the history books?
‘Trump Singles’ was launched by 35-year-old David Goss, a lifelong Republican. He came up with the idea for TrumpSingles.com after a female friend of his, who is also a Trump supporter, told Goss about how she was on a date with someone she met online and that person got up and walked out of the restaurant when she told him that she was a Trump supporter (that anonymous e-dater was a Clinton supporter, for reference).
Here’s a look at the site that’s currently getting POUNDED with traffic, making the website a little shaky as it has gone down 50% of the times I’ve tried to visit the site:
Christian Gollayan of the NYPost.com reports:
“I think there’s a special stigma when people say they’re supporting Trump, because of some of the brash things that he’s said,” Goss, an associate TV producer based in Santa Clarita, Calif., tells The Post. “That immediately gets [projected] on his supporters, and it makes it hard for them when trying to date.”
More than 500 Trump fans have joined since TrumpSingles went live in May. Goss says most of his users are from New York City, Los Angeles and Washington, DC. Like with most online dating services, users can search matches by age, location and interests. While it’s free to sign up, users can only send one message a day unless they cough up a $4.95 monthly subscription.
“At first I was concerned that people would think this was a parody site,” says Goss, whose wife, Tonya, is also pro-Trump. “But people have told me that they’re so happy they can finally go on dates without worrying about political differences.”
TrumpSingles user and libertarian Richard, who asked that his last name not be used for privacy reasons, agrees.
“Trump is bastardized and demonized in the media, so I kind of keep to myself that I’m a Trump supporter because people can have a violent reaction to it,” Richard, a 27-year-old retail associate from Oxnard, Calif., tells The Post. “It’s hard for me sometimes to meet new people.”
So we’ve established that it’s not a parody site, and TrumpSingles.com is 100% legit for Donald J. Trump supporters looking to date other Trump supporters. There’s obviously a huge problem here though, and that’s the fact that there are only ~500 people signed up for the site (and they didn’t specify the male/female breakdown), which means it’s virtually impossible to meet other Trump supporters in your area.
Methinks that the man, the myth, the legend…DONALD J. TRUMP himself needs to speak up and support this, tweet something about it, that way more Trump supporters actually know this exist. Otherwise this site is going to flounder and disappear before the election even hits.
