Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Being Extorted For A Large Amount Of Money By One Of His Ex-Girlfriends

A couple of years ago Jennifer Lopez was basically being extorted by her ex-husband over a sex tape the couple allegedly made. (No idea if it was the one she pretty much admitted to making during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, but I suppose it’s possible.)

So she has a pretty good idea what her new boyfriend Alex Rodriguez is now facing as he is reportedly also facing extortion by an ex.

No, it’s not a sex tape, but according to TMZ, the woman, who A-Rod broke up with in 2014 has been repeatedly asking him for money only to be turned down by Rodriguez every time.

Now, however, she’s stepped up the blackmailing by reportedly demanding as much as $600,000 and if Rodriguez doesn’t deliver she will release some of his private messages to her.

We’re told she demanded $600,000 or she would contact multiple media outlets to offer text messages Alex had sent her. One source with direct knowledge believes the woman’s motives are clear: once A-Rod hooked up with J Lo … the ex saw dollar signs, and felt he would pay any amount to keep her quiet.

The source believes she intended to release old texts with Alex from when they were dating, and make it seem like he was still contacting her while dating Jennifer.

We’re told A-Rod is standing firm … he will NOT pay her a dime. Instead, his legal team is preparing to go to police and even federal authorities if the woman continues threatening him.

The fact that this information has now gone public certainly reduces her chances of ever seeing a dime, but it does make one wonder what exactly is in those text messages that makes her think they would be worth $600K while Rodriguez, who earned $480 million in his MLB career, obviously does not.
