Last night’s Game 7 of the NBA Finals was an instant classic, giving sports fans the game that we had all hoped for, eventually ending with the first championship in a major sport in Cleveland history since 1964.
And as the buzzer sounded to end the game, Cavs star LeBron James broke down, absolutely losing it as he celebrated with his teammates. Naturally, the Internet got hold of a certain photo and, yep, they’re trying to make it the next Crying Jordan meme.
Ladies and gentleman, I introduce the Crying LeBron:

Now, I’m all for this. For the past year or so, I’ve been arguing that it’s time to retire the Crying Jordan and move onto something else. James is the perfect polarizing figure, like MJ was, to make this thing stick.
Whether a Cavs fan or not, this is what sports fans needs, so let’s hope the Crying LeBron sticks and forever retires that crummy Crying Jordan meme.
