A Donald Trump-LaVar Ball Beef Might Actually Go Down After Trump Demands A Thank You From LiAngelo And His Teammates

Two of the nations biggest shit talkers, LaVar Ball and Donald Trump, appear might be headed for a collision course after the President took to Twitter to demand a thank you from LiAngelo Ball and his two UCLA teammates for helping them get out of their sticky situation in China after they were caught shoplifting at a Louis Vutton store.

According to a Washington Post Report on Monday, Trump personally asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to help out with the players who were being held at a luxury hotel in China.

President Trump personally asked his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to help resolve the case of three UCLA men’s basketball players who were arrested for shoplifting while in Hangzhou for a tournament last week, people familiar with the situation said Monday.

After Trump raised the matter, Xi promised to look into the case and ensure that the players be treated fairly and expeditiously, said a U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

Of course Trump wasn’t the only lobbying the Chinese authorities to release the UCLA players, Alibaba founder Jack Ma also worked hard behind the scenes to get the players released.

During the investigation, the school and Pac-12 Conference have been receiving assistance from Chinese e-commerce goliath Alibaba, the presenting sponsor of the Pac-12 China Game.

We’ll have to wait and see how LaVar responds to the President but he’ll likely be asked to comment during tonight’s Lakers-Sixers game.
