You can forgive Jahlil Okafor if he’s a little disappointed to end up in Philadelphia. The franchise has been known more for tanking than winning in recent years. But he’ll probably want to work on his body language a bit in the future to make it a little less obvious.
The internet freaked out after video of the big man dropping his new Sixers jersey haphazardly at a press conference went viral yesterday.
I’m sure Okafor didn’t mean any actual disrespect to his new employers but it certainly didn’t look good, especially contrasted with the care taken by Richaun Holmes and J.P. Tokoto.
There seems to be some debate whether Okafor dropped his new threads on a table or the floor.
I’m not sure it really matters because this is a blog post mountain out of a molehill anyway.
