I like soccer. I do not want to be one of those people who tells everyone they should like soccer because, honestly, you can do what you want with your life. It will have little to no impact on mine.
But if you do have some curiousity about the game, the English Premier League is the easiest to follow. Picking a team, however, is a difficult task.
There are many, many different reasons someone from America jumps on a EPL side’s bandwagon. Because this quiz on NBC Sports told you to do so is as good a reason as any.
This quiz most definitely does not ask your traditional boring questions. Like, I am not sure how anything I answered had to do with soccer.
Now, I’m not saying it’s entirely accurate either. It told me, an avid Liverpool enthusiast, I should root for lowly Leicester City. On the other hand, it suggested Chelsea for Chris Illuminati and we all know his shtick is being extremely trendy.
So the algorithm is batting .500, pretty damn good as algorithm goes.
Take a look for yourself. Trust the machine. Machines are good. That’s why you’ve never seen a futuristic movie about them turning on us.
