In the bottom of the 7th inning in a game between the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks, shortstop Brandon Crawford flared a ball down the third base line, which was clearly fair, and a Giants fan WEARING A BASEBALL GLOVE snagged it thinking the ball was foul. After a couple self-congratulatory claps, he realized the ball was actually fair and that he just lost his primo first row seats. First of all, the guy is wearing a glove. That’s grounds for ejection right there. I wore a glove to a Red Sox-Orioles game at Fenway and got heckled from the first to the ninth. I was 8. No self-respecting baseball fan wears a glove. You can catch a ball in your hat, in your beer, in your bare hand while holding a baby. No glove, all love.
Secondly, the DATE! That was next level mortification. I wouldn’t be surprised if she dumped him as soon as they got in the car.
