LeBron James’s son, Bryce, was critical of Lakers head coach Darvin Ham on social media after the team’s early playoff exit. The high schooler reposted a meme of the Los Angeles leader following a Game 5 loss to Denver.

That defeat effectively ended his father’s season while casting doubt on Ham’s future with the organization. We now know where Bryce James stands!

The Lakers faced off against the Nuggets as a seven-seed, looking to avenge a Western Conference Finals sweep from the year prior. Unfortunately, their archnemesis proved to be too much once again.

Denver won four of five meetings to send LeBron and Co. packing. Many were immediately critical of how Ham handled his lineup and rotations in the season-ending series. Others bashed his abilities as a play caller.

While Michael Malone voiced his support of Darvin Ham, a large portion of fans in Los Angeles are ready for his two-year tenure to end. This comes despite that run to the WCF in 2023, as well as back-to-back playoff appearances.

Bryce James looks to be in that majority, at least according to his TikTok page.

He reposted a meme for his 446K followers to see showing bespectacled cartoon character Arthur with his hands in his pockets beneath a caption that read, “The Nuggets are on a 15-0 run.”

The insinuation being that the head coach did nothing to adjust to or slow Denver’s success.

It’s an opinion many in LA share, which has only added to speculation surrounding Darvin Ham’s job security.

Will he be the Lakers’ head coach in 2024-25 following the first-round playoff exit? Time will tell!
