Von Miller Just Sent Over 200 AFC West Players Each A Bottle Of Wine With An Amazing Note

I typically refrain from saying shit like ‘So and so just pulled the ultimate bro move‘ because I think that phrase gets tossed around too regularly. But that is exactly what Von Miller just did, he pulled the ultimate bro move and sent every single player in the AFC West (starters, practice squad players, and guys on the IR) a custom bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon along with an incredibly humble and heartfelt note.

The wine itself is a 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Devil Proof Vineyards in California and he’s named it ‘The Setting’, the same vineyard which produced a custom red blend for the wedding of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, and the label of this wine features the outline of Von Miller’s iconic orange eyeglasses. As I said before, each bottle sent out was accompanied by a note, here’s what that note from Von Miller had to say:

“It is an honor and a privilege to take the field and compete with you twice a year. We are so fortunate to have this opportunity to fulfill our childhood dreams of playing in the NFL. The blood, sweat, aches and pains, and endless hours spent watching film are a testament to the love and dedication we have for this game. So take a moment, reflect on all your successes, and enjoy your accomplishment. Appreciate those who have helped you get this far, and start working towards your next childhood dream.

Thank you for helping to make our game great!”

— Von Miller

Von Miller’s one of those players you constantly hear insiders praising. He’s got a great attitude, he performs on the field at the highest possible levels, and he takes care of his own. Each year for Christmas he sends gifts to everyone on his team. So this move of sending out 200+ bottles of wine wasn’t entirely unprecedented, but then again it was because you never expect a gift from your rival, especially when you’re playing on the practice squad of the Chargers.

According to The Denver Post, Von Miller has made 100 additional bottles available to the public, available for purchase on his website to the first 100 people who donate $500 or more to his charitable foundation, VonMiller.org.

After hearing news of Von Miller’s extremely generous gift I can only assume that he, like myself, is also a huge fan of this rap video for ‘I Like Wine’ by C-Money:
