Yasiel Puig Turned in the Worst — And Fastest — Home Run Derby Performance of All Time

Los Angeles Dodgers star Yasiel Puig was a participant in last night’s Home Run Derby, but he hit as many home runs as everyone sitting at home watching combined.

That would be zero.

We should have known things wouldn’t be going well when he inexplicably showed up to the event without a designated pitcher.

It only went downhill from there, and if one didn’t know better, one would think he didn’t really know the rules. Considering Puig’s unpredictable nature and growing legacy of the astounding, that right there is a very real possibility.

It was the first homerless performance in the Derby since Robinson Cano in 2012. Although, since Cano’s dad threw to both of them, maybe he is the problem.

The Dodgers have a perfectly logical explanation for the goose egg.
