No reason was given for the split but a source close to the 35-year-old Akerman told the magazine it was “amicable” and the two are now concentrating on doing “what’s best for their son.”
According to the insider, despite calling it quits, the pair haven’t decided on whether to file for divorce yet.
Akerman and Zincone met many years ago when they were in an alt-rock band together called The Petalstones. Akerman was the singer and Roberto was the drummer. Drummers…amirite? The band broke up when Akerman’s acting career began to take off. Wait, her acting career took off? When did this happen?
