This right here is a bit of a doozy, so I’ll start out with some background just to make sure everyone’s up to date. Good? Good.

Early this past week Seth Rogen tweeted that the film American Sniper reminded him of the Nazi propaganda movie shown at the end of Inglorious Basterds:

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsAs I’m sure you can guess people started flipping their shit, including Kid Rock. Now, this came as a surprise to me because I thought Kid Rock was dead. The last time I heard anything about the guy it was probably 2001, and if you haven’t heard anything about any given celebrity in over 10 years chances are that they’re either dead or irrelevant…which might as well be the same thing as being dead in celebrity land.

Well apparently Kid Rock isn’t dead (cue ~8 people caring). But since sometimes living people having opinions that they like to spew out at anyone willing to listen, Kid Rock had this to say in response to Seth Rogen’s comments about American Sniper:

“F*ck you Michael Moore, you’re a piece of sh*t and your uncle would be ashamed of you. Seth Rogen, your uncle probably molested you. I hope both of you catch a fist to the face soon. God bless you Chris Kyle, Thank you for your service.”

Um, okay. Because saying American Sniper reminded you of a Nazi propaganda movie automatically = childhood molestations. Kid Rock has apparently been watching too many episodes of Law & Order: SVU and the plotlines have been seeping into his brain then leaking into his perception of the real world. But in any case, Seth Rogen responded to Kid Rock once and for all:

And then responded again for everyone else who managed to avoid equating movies to being molested as a child:

Okay, are we done? We’re done. Kid Rock be nice to Seth Rogen, and Seth Rogen be nice to Kid Rock. Now we can all be friends!
