With word that Sharknado 2 is now filming this week we thought this would be a good time to take a look back Tara Reid in her glory days and see what else she’s been up to lately.

People may forget, but back in the day Tara Reid was the bomb. Any guy that saw her play Vicky Lathum in the first two American Pie films was immediately smitten (not to mention seeing her in Josie and the Pussycats…rowr).
Unortunately after National Lampoon’s Van Wilder in 2002 things got real quiet for Tara on the movie front (from 2005 to 2008 all her films were of the direct-to-video nature), but we were still able to keep an eye on her as she became one of the ultimate party girls in Hollywood, which was a whole different kind of fun way to see her.

Now she’s back, blowing up the Internet in 2013, with the instant cult classic Sharknado, which thanks to it’s success has led Tara to her next movie role in 2014…Sharknado 2: The Second One, set for release in July of this year. We can hardly wait.
