Netflix, Warner Bros. And Fox Dominate The 2018 Golden Trailer Award Nominations’ 108 Categories

Movie trailers have become big business in today’s ultra-competitive entertainment climate. It’s become its own high-dollar industry with companies that specialize in just making movie trailers.

It’s become such a massive industry that the 2018 Golden Trailer Award nominations cover 108 (!) different categories ranging from sound editing to title sequences to posters, billboards, and even video game trailers.

Netflix and Warner Bros. with 61 apiece along with Fox getting 53 received the most total nominations this year.

Best Picture winner The Shape of Water and The Hitman’s Bodyguard each received eight nominations for the 19th annual Golden Trailer Awards, the most for individual films.

The winners 17 of those 108 categories will be presented live on May 31st from the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Here are those 17…
