Adria Arjona is wasting no time getting in shape for Man of Tomorrow. Having been announced as joining the cast earlier this month, the rising A-list actress is already in the gym getting shredded for the role. What that role actually is, though, has been up for debate.
While some Hollywood trades have reported that Adria Arjona — star of films such as 6 Underground, Father of the Bride, Hit Man, Blink Twice, and the upcoming The Thomas Crowne Affair reboot — will be playing the space warrior queen Maxima, fans of the DCU suspect that she’s actually been cast to play the most prominent female superhero of all time, Wonder Woman.
Regardless of what her role actually is, Arjona is in the gym and getting shredded for the part, as evidenced by her recent posts on Instagram, including one that shows her doing reps of pulldowns to the tune of Ozzy Osborne’s hit song “Crazy Train.”

Production on Man of Tomorrow began this month and will feature the return of various Superman stars such as David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Lars Eidinger will also be joining the cast as the villainous Brainiac, which will be the feature film debut of the iconic Superman nemesis.
Additional Man of Tomorrow cast members include Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Aaron Pierre as John Stewart/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/Engineer, and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.
Man of Tomorrow, which will see Superman and Lex Luthor teaming up to defeat Brainiac, is currently scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on July 9, 2027. The second project in the DCU, Supergirl, will hit theaters this summer on June 26.
