YouTuber MickMazzMusic woke up and chose brilliance this week. He put out a cover of Blink-182’s ‘All The Small Things’ but with a twist.

Instead of playing ‘All Thing Small Things’ as the traditional Pop Punk song that it is he threw some flavor on top and made it into an 80’s Synth Pop song. It’s as if Rick Astley went to a Dead Kennedys concert in the 80s and woke up thinking he should cover on of their songs.

Objectively speaking, this is a banger. I won’t even say ‘I don’t hate it’ because the fact of the matter is I kind of love this. It’s possible that I’m feeling this because I’ve been mildly hungover every day for two years and haven’t seen live music in what seems like a decade. But I really think this hits right on this bright and sunny day.

If you are prepared to down a YouTube rabbit hole after this cover of Blink-182’s All The Small Things then you’re in luck. I’ve pulled additional recent videos from his YouTube channel. While I’m partial to the ‘All The Small Things’ cover of Simple Plan’s ‘I’m Just A Kid’ is amazing.

Here’s another one you are sure to love:

I guess you might need to have been of a certain age to appreciate these. It requires a fondness for both 80s and 90s Synth Pop and a love for late 90s and early 2000s Pop Punk and I check all of those boxes. Shoud out to DIGG for posting one of these videos earlier!
