Twitch streamer and OF model Amouranth is fortunate to be alive this week after surviving a violent home invasion where armed burglars shot their way into her home while seeking $20 million in cryptocurrency. During the harrowing ordeal, she live tweeted the incident saying she was covered in blood but not all of it was her own and she later shared security footage of the home invasion
Amouranth had revealed back in November that she was sitting on $20M in crypto and the trio of criminals broke into her room, pistol whipped her in the face, and demanded the money. This is evidently what the criminals were after, money they thought they could easily make off with in the middle of the night, but things did not go as planned.
Just before midnight on Sunday night and into early Monday morning, Amouranth whose real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa, fired off a series of posts on X (née Twitter) saying that she was being robbed at gunpoint:

Those tweets culminated with her saying that SWAT had arrived and she shared a photo of the police vehicle lights just outside of the gate to her home in Texas.
Kaitlyn went on to share “I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update y’all later but I’m safe now” and added that the robbery “was at gun point, they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”
Amouranth then shared security camera footage of the scene along with more details about what went down. She said “They beat me before this video and pistol whipped me the pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I Learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head and my hands where beat brown. They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.” Siragusa also added that one of the gunmen was heard saying “I got shot, I got shot”

I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence

In a follow up to the video, she shared that there was “a trail of his blood all the way along driveway forensic testing it” and that the armed robbers were attempting to enter her bedroom by shooting the handle off the door:

After she tweeted the initial message, that she was being robbed at gunpoint, she led the assailants into a part of her home where her husband was waiting with a loaded pistol and that’s when a gunfight ensued and the armed robbers eventually fled.
In the replies on X, Amouranth tagged Staccato who makes high-end handguns. This is Texas, after all. And she is said to be worth in the range of $60 million including the $20M in crypto the burglars were after but the number could be much, much higher as she’s said she makes around $2 million/month from streaming and subscriptions.
According to local news reports, police are still seeking the armed assailants. Theoretically, the one that got shot should be easy to identify in a reasonable amount of time between DNA and the fact that they got shot and will be recovering from that.
This is just an absolutely nightmarish situation for one of the most popular streamers on the Internet. It is also a reminder for anyone who works in a job that’s primarily online that you can never be too careful when sharing personal details about your life.
