For someone like Antonio Brown, every day is probably like Halloween.

On the day the rest of us recognize the holiday, though, the former NFL wide receiver shared a photo of himself as a “mental patient costume.”

The fact that the photo includes Brown’s catchphrase “Put that s— on” suggests that he (or someone who “works” for him) might have actually been the one to make it.

Brown has certainly leaned into the suggestions that he’s struggling with some sort of cognitive issue, as he’s also started using the hashtag #CatchTheEnergy, a play on the medical condition known as “CTE” that former NFL players have been increasingly diagnosed with.

The 35-year-old, who has yet to officially retire and will occasionally pop up on Twitter to pitch himself to random teams like the Baltimore Ravens, later played in the National Football League with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2021.

The troubled yet talented pass catcher infamously ended his career by storming off the field at MetLife Stadium during a game against the New York Jets, taking off his pads and doing jumping jacks on his way off the field.

Since then, Brown has not only acted increasingly erratic but has gotten himself in his fair share of legal trouble, as well.

During the prime of his NFL career, Brown was largely considered to be one of the best receivers of his generation, especially during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, which saw him named to four consecutive All-Pro first teams from 2013 to 2017.

Over the course of his 11-year NFL career, Brown caught 928 passes for 12,291 yards and 83 touchdowns. He also posted another 59 catches for 918 yards and six touchdowns in the playoffs.
