Videos of pop star and actress Ariana Grande performing sexually suggestive acts — such as laying upside in a bed and trying to drink water — have been going viral following the bevy of allegations made against producer Dan Schneider.

The clips, which are from Grande’s time on the Nickelodeon show Victorious — which Schneider is credited as being the sole creator of — see the then-teen actress doing things such as pouring water on herself, sticking her finger down her throat, talking about being “soaking wet”, sticking her feet in her mouth, and squeezing a potato with both hands.

The video has gained an entirely new context and traction following the release of the Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV docuseries on the ID channel, which alleges that Schneider was abusive on set, allegedly tormenting and humiliating members of the cast and crew on his set.

There were also allegations of sexual abuse in the documentary, although none specifically made against Schneider.

Grande was 17 years old when Victorious, which also starred Victoria Justice, premiered on the network in 2010.

Following the release of the documentary, Schneider released a statement apologizing for his actions via a spokesperson.

“Everything that happened on the shows Dan ran was carefully scrutinized by dozens of involved adults, and approved by the network,” a rep for Schneider told Variety on Monday.

“In the challenges of production, Dan could get frustrated at times, and he understands why some employees found that intimidating and stressful… If there was an actual problem with the scenes that some people, now years later are ‘sexualizing,’ they would be taken down, but they are not, they are aired constantly all over the world today still, enjoyed by both kids and parents.”

After launching her career as an actress on Nickelodeon, Grande went on to become one of the most popular pop stars in the world, as she has over 380 million followers on Instagram. She’s also continued to work as an actress, as she’ll next be seen starring in the film adaptation of Wicked, which hits theaters later this year.

At this time, Grande has yet to make a public statement regarding the allegations made against Schneider, whose additional credits include All That, Drake & Josh, Kenan & Kel, Sam & Cat, The Amanda Show, Victorious, Zoey 101, and iCarly.
