Researchers on The Travel Channel’s Expedition Bigfoot have once again gathered what they believe is evidence that the legendary creature does, in fact, exist.
Using a thermal camera, the Bigfoot hunters recently captured footage of what they believe was the heat signature of a large creature lurking and watching them in the woods.

The explorers often use a thermal camera in an attempt to spot clues to the whereabouts of Bigfoot that the human eye cannot see at night.
Just last year, Dr. Mireya Mayor, a world-renowned primatologist and wildlife correspondent who leads the team, captured a large, mysterious figure using the infa-red technology.
Did Bigfoot hunters actually capture thermal imagery of the legendary creature?
This latest thermal camera footage of what the researchers believe may have been Bigfoot was quickly analyzed by many on social media as well as the Bigfoot sub-Reddit.
“With thermal, if you wear a suit you can tell,” one person explained. “It would be pretty hard for poor Sasquatch Researchers to hoax a 9 foot creature that has proper thermal readings, and often leaves footprints with mid tarsal break and correct anatomy.”
“Seems like a hoax to me. There’s only 3 videos I’ve ever seen that I think may be real,” another commented. “The best is still the Patterson film. I’ve seen so much video and picture ‘evidence’ and heard so so many stories.”
Over on Twitter, reactions to the footage were also mixed.

“Throughout my career, several Bigfoot researchers had approached me about questions they have about prints they found, but I felt this was an opportunity to conduct a proper scientific investigation into the subject matter of Bigfoot,” Dr. Mayor said about her research into the legendary cryptid.
“For me, it was a very natural fit. What I liked very much about the premise of this expedition is that it would be a team of experts with very different skill sets and backgrounds working together in one particular hot spot. It was a unique opportunity and approach to find Bigfoot that I have never seen before.”
