WATCH: Brad Pitt Kicks Assassin Ass In First 'Bullet Train' Trailer

Sony Pictures

  • Brad Pitt is set to star in Bullet Train alongside a star-studded cast.
  • The movie is directed by David Leitch, the filmmaker behind Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and Hobbs & Shaw.
  • Bullet Train is set to hit theaters in the United States on July 15.

The first trailer for Bullet Train — the assassin-filled action flick that boasts Brad Pitt starring in his first movie since his award-winning turn in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood — has been released and based on this first look, it appears as though the film will be one of the summer’s most entertaining blockbusters.

Perhaps more exciting than the presence of Pitt is the film’s director David Leitch, who not only helmed Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and Hobbs & Shaw, but he co-directed (albeit uncredited) the original John Wick with his buddy and fellow former stuntman Chad Stahelski. Brad Pitt plus John Wick-esque fight choreography plus gonzo humor equals SOLD!

Pitt has himself quite the busy year lined up. Not only is he anchoring Bullet Train, but he’ll also appear in the rom-com The Lost City — which hits theaters on March 25 — alongside Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum and will star in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon with Margot Robbie, which is sure to be an award season contender.

In addition to the Academy Award-winning Pitt — appearing in his first film since taking home the prize for Best Supporting Actor back in early 2020 — Bullet Train is also set to star Sandra Bullock, Michael Shannon, Brian Tyree Henry, Logan Lerman, Zazie Beetz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King, Karen Fukuhara, Masi Oka, Andrew Koji, Bad Bunny, and more.
