We are less than a month and a half away from Call of Duty: WWII exploding onto screens and we finally get a glimpse into the campaign mode of the highly anticipated game. On Monday, Activision released the official trailer for the campaign mode for Call of Duty: WWII and it looks spectacular.

The single-player mode promises to be much more than just a shoot’em up and more about the emotional hardships of fighting in the bleak battlefields of World War II. You to step into the boots of U.S. soldier Private Ronald “Red” Daniels and fight against armies of Nazis during World War II. Daniels is a young member of the U.S. First Infantry Division who sees his first combat experience during the lethal D-Day invasion. The campaign promises to thrust gamers into defining historical battles such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge. Daniels and his fellow patriots eventually make their way into Germany.
