A TikToker has gone viral after calling out a litterbug who kept disposing of their Chick-fil-A trash in the street. And once the neighbors got involved, the stakes got even higher.
Chick-fil-A is known for many things, from its chicken sandwiches to various service quirks like marking certain orders as “red flags.” But based on this TikTok, someone out there might like the fast food chain a little too much—and the environment is paying the price.
The viral video, which was posted by user Aubrey (@oddbry), has garnered 1 million views.
Is Someone Littering Chick-fil-A?
She began by appealing directly to someone called Lexi, who, she says, appears to regularly drive their blue Sedan up and down Colton Street in Echo Park, Los Angeles. For Lexi, Aubrey has two questions. First of all, how much does she spend monthly on Chick-fil-A? And secondly, has she “heard of a trash can?”
Aubrey went on to explain how she parks on Colton Street every day in order to walk home. It is during these walks that she discovered “ungodly amounts of Chick-fil-A.” This got her wondering if this was all one person’s trash.
As she walked past the spot, she says she started wondering if this was the same person who goes there every day to throw away the trash. Adding to her theory, she noted how the Chick-fil-A trash piled up in very large amounts, before showing the viewers the mess herself in footage taken on Colton Street.
She Shows The Evidence
The clip shows what Aubrey describes as an “absolutely unhinged amount of Chick-fil-A trash.” The grassy areas of the street are largely full of discarded Chick-fil-A boxes and paper cups emblazoned with the fast food restaurant’s logo. “It’s so much Chick-fil-A, I don’t understand what’s going on dude,” she says. “And it just keeps going.”
The TikToker then questioned whether it’s the same guy throwing it out the window for “god knows how long.”
“It was so bad that the neighbors actually cleaned up the street,” she continued. However, almost immediately after the cleanup, the Chick-fil-A trash returned.
“That’s how I know that it wasn’t just all at one moment; it just got dumped there,” she concluded. “It’s been piling the f—up. You have a problem and you need to stop.”
She ended the video by sharing an image of the “culprit,” which consisted of a receipt listing Lexi’s name and the type of vehicle she drives.

The Neighbors Reach Out
In the comments section, some of Aubrey’s neighbors weighed in.
“Hi I’m your neighbor apparently,” one wrote. “Can we team up and catch this guy? My roommate and I call him the Serial Chicken Litterer.”
“I have documented this as well I am your neighbor,” a second added.
Others took a more investigative approach, with multiple commenters sharing they had searched the location on Google Earth.
“I live in the LA area and was curious, so I look up Colton St. in Google,” a third shared. “You can literally see the trash in front of the empty lot on the map. Also on Street View there is a blue Sedan parked right there.”
Accompanying the comment was a screenshot, with the trash clearly visible from the aerial point of view.
Meanwhile, a fourth took direct action.
“I called 4 different Chick-fil-As, spoke to both managers and employees, including the location people suspect her to be getting the trash from in Torrance, CA. No one did anything,” they said. “Called LA county center for illegal dumping, got redirected, then 311 and sat on hold for 48 minutes, none of them could do anything. I called the police, they told me to hang up make a report online which I did, and even made a Nextdoor post online. Hopefully something will be done.”
Is It Legal To Litter In L.A.?
Unsurprisingly, it is illegal to litter in Los Angeles. Per California Code, Penal Code PEN § 374.4, littering or causing something to be littered is “unlawful” and considered to be an infraction.
For a first conviction, you’ll be fined $250-$1,000. For a second, that moves up to $500-$1,500. Finally, for a third and any subsequent conviction, that will rise to $750-$3,000. In addition to the fine, the court can also order the guilty party to pick up litter for no less than eight hours.
