United States Men’s National Team and AC Milan star Christian Pulisic took to social media to address recent rumor that he’s dating actress Sydney Sweeney.

After rumors that Christian Pulisic was dating The Housemaid star Sydney Sweeney, the USMNT captain commented on an Instagram post to deny the stories.

Pulisic, 27 years old, has been dating pro golfer Alexa Melton since 2024, while Sweeney, 28, has recently been spotted with divisive music manager Scooter Braun.

USMNT and AC Milan star Christian Pulisic had to publicly address rumors that he was dating actress Sydney Sweeney on social media

“Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life. Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives,” Pulisic wrote on his Instagram Stories on Sunday.

“Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor,” he commented on another Instagram post.

Beyond the fact that they’re both Florida-based Republican celebrities, it’s unclear why Sweeney and Pulisic were linked together to begin with.

Despite another injury-riddled season, Pulisic is the joint top goal scorer in Italy’s Serie A alongside Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez as it enters 2026, having netted eight times in 594 minutes of play. AC Milan are also in the Serie A title race as the season enters January, as they currently trail first-place Inter Milan by just one point.

Sweeney, on the other hand, recently broke her slump at the box office with the release of The Housemaid, which is now expected to make around $100 million against a $25 million budget.
