Following Super Tuesday on March 5, The Herd host Colin Cowherd went on a lengthy rant about the two 2024 Presidential nominees: Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

A rematch of the 2020 election that was won by President Biden, the 81-year-old Democrat and the 77-year-old Republican will be the options for the American public to choose from once again this year.

During his March 6 episode of The Herd, Cowherd went on a lengthy rant about the pair, expressing his frustration that they’re the nominees again.

“Did you watch any of the political stuff last night?” Cowherd asked his The Herd co-host Jason McIntyre.

“Is anybody excited about Trump vs. Biden, because that’s what we’ve got. Is anybody excited about that? That’s not great. Right? I don’t get how you can be all into that… you know how loud, ugly, raucous, and negative it’s going to be?”

McIntyre then interjected to get Cowherd back on course, saying, “Good thing we have sports to talk about as an escape from that nonsense.”

Cowherd, however, blew past McIntyre’s exit route and continued on his political rant, this time realizing that he should probably mention the owners of his network.

“It is going to be the most cantankerous, ugliest, snarky, mean, it’s going to be awful,” Cowherd continued. “But you should watch Fox News if you have a choice. You know, our [Fox Sports 1] owners.”

“I don’t know, I watched it for a while last night and it was all sort of in good spirit, everyone was kind of smiling as they were negative, but I thought, ‘This thing’s gonna turn.’ You know by September, October, November, it’s gonna get ugly.”

McIntyre then again tried to reroute the conversation by saying “Thank goodness football season… what would I do without it?”

This time, Cowherd obliged the clearly uncomfortable McIntyre and brought an end to the discussion.

“So this will be the show, during the ugliness, where you can come over, laugh, get a few college basketball betting tips.”

The 2024 Presidential election will be held on Tuesday, November 5.
