A women in Minnesota is going viral for looking like Jennifer Lopez in her mugshot
While women with striking features going viral for their mugshots is nothing new, rarely has one so closely resembled such a well-known celebrity. If you didn’t read the headline and just saw Cyrena Anne Quast’s mugshot, for example, there’s a chance you’d think that Jennifer Lopez just had a rough night.
Cyrena Anne Quast, 35, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, was arrested on August 30 in Monticello after allegedly stealing two double packs of power tool batteries worth about $580 from a Runnings store.
A store employee recognized her from a suspected theft two days earlier and called police. After she was arrested, Quast admitted to taking the batteries and was booked.

The New York Post got hold of Quast’s mugshot, and their post about her went viral on social media, as it currently has nearly two million views on X/Twitter (at the time of this writing), due to her resemblance to Jennifer Lopez.

“For a moment I thought it was jlo lmao,” one user wrote.
“There’s a glitch in the matrix lol,” a second posted.
“If you look close their noses are different but DAMN I had to look extra close to find any differences lol,” a third commented.
“Maybe a secret child? They’re 22 years apart,” a fourth joking suggested.
Her charge was elevated to a felony due to the combined value of the stolen items exceeding $500 and a prior gross misdemeanor theft conviction from Stearns County in March 2024.
A judge set bail at $15,000, or $0 with conditions. Records show Quast has prior law enforcement encounters involving theft, drug possession, fleeing police, and providing false identification dating back to 2023.
After a difficult couple of years that saw her divorce from Ben Affleck, the cancellation of tour dates due to low ticket sales, and her starring in a widely panned Netflix movie, it’s been relatively quiet on the Lopez front so far in 2026.
