What’s going on, BroBible family. We’re back with another edition of Daily Visuals, our semi-regular column featuring some talented, breathtaking photos from our community.
If you’ve been reading BroBible for a while, you know that I bleed green, a through-and-through Philly guy. It’s the best city in the universe, from the Rocky statue to Dalessandro’s cheesesteaks to citywide specials. Pretty happy to feature Gary Citrone here on BroBible, a Philly-based photographer capturing the cityscape under William Penn’s gaze, from the banks of the Wissahickon to Boat House Row. As much as I love California, that Kelly Drive in Eagles green makes me pretty homesick with fall lurking around the corner.
A note about DAILY VISUALS: We really want BroBible to be a digital destination that inspire wanderlust and adventure, so I can’t think of a better way to promote that ethos than by featuring the people capturing the world behind a camera. If you’d like to be featured in our daily showcase, please drop me an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or DM BroBible on Instagram. Twitter is cool too.
About Gary, in his own words:
Hey, My name is Gary and I currently reside in Philadelphia. I think the best way to describe myself is that I am an amateur photographer at best. Years of playing Football and Rugby have left me with one too many surgeries and I needed a new hobby. So I bought a second-hand camera from a friend of a friend and have been teaching myself ever since. Whether it be Youtube videos, articles online or simply just tinkering with the camera, I have been able to learn so much in such a short time. I think what really has helped is living in a place like Philadelphia. In a 10-minute bike ride, I am in the heart of Center City or could be in the middle of the Wissahickon woods. I think being able to shoot a wide variety of locations and sceneries has kept me on my toes and constantly challenges me to improve. I am excited and look forward to being able to travel more whether it be for vacation, work or weddings to be able to capture these new areas with the techniques and skills I have honed while at home.
