Waiting at an airport can feel like a fate worse than death. So, one Delta Air Lines customer decided to take a different approach—and went extremely viral in the process.
Combined, the two videos posted by user Marilyn Delgado (@marilyndelgado) amassed over 9 million views. Both TikToks filmed a man standing by the microphone in a departure lounge, seemingly at the end of his tether. “Hi, Delta associates that aren’t paying attention,” he says. “Please come to 30B. You have a customer waiting. Thank you.”
“Delta, Delta, please come to 30B. You have a customer waiting,” he continues, before adding, “Delta, Delta, is anybody working?”
As Delta makes its own announcement and overlaps with what the customer says, he adds, “OK, that’s fine if you want to do the baggage thing, but what about customer service? Customer service is needed at 30B. Please come and help the customer at 30B.”
“Uh, anyone on—on shift?” he asks. “Delta, Delta, please help. 30B. Thank you.”
In the second video specifically, a Delta worker wearing a captain’s uniform approaches. The disgruntled customer says, “Literally no one wants to respond. That’s fine. I’ll just keep broadcasting.”
After a short conversation, he continues broadcasting and adds, “The captain just walked away from me and [is] saying I could go somewhere else. So, does anybody wanna help with customer service?”
The video ends with him folding his arms, seemingly disgruntled by the whole situation.

What Did Commenters Say?
Commenters were mostly amused by the situation. “I love when people don’t GAF,” one wrote.
“So those mics DO work, they just choose to mumble,” a second remarked.
“This is the clearest I’ve ever heard that mic,” a third agreed.
While a fourth noted, “Delta too embarrassed to comment lol.”
“Rumor has it he’s still at 30B waiting to be helped,” a fifth quipped.
And a sixth said, “As a former Delta employee this is HILARIOUS!!!!”
What Else Has Delta Got Wrong?
Along with recent accusations of “scamming” customers with its bereavement flight prices, another passenger went to TikTok after being left shocked by one flight attendant’s suggestion in a seating dispute.
In the clip, which has garnered over 40,000 views, TikToker @thefloraldame says it all started when she noticed a man sitting in the middle. She was assigned the window seat. A flight attendant told her the man is paralyzed from the waist down and that she would have to “climb over” the man. When @thefloraldame refused, the attendant purportedly found the man’s caregiver and asked, “How immobile is he?” The response was that he couldn’t move his legs.
The TikToker and the caregiver resolved the situation among themselves, deciding the switch seats.
