A TikToker has gone viral after sharing a bizarre series of announcements she heard on a Delta flight.
Few things are more tiring than a hungover flight. One Delta flight attendant knew exactly how to go that extra mile (pun intended).
In the viral video, which has garnered 448,900 views, TikToker @jerseymikes13 gave viewers some insight into her peculiar Delta flight.
“Kind of flight attendant you get when you’re hungover in the middle seat and forget your earbuds,” she said via on-screen text.
What Happened On This Delta Flight?
As she sat on the aircraft, opposite an announcement screen on the back of her seat, the flight attendant was doing what can only be described as monologuing.
“I have my jacket on now, let’s put it that way, and I feel a lot more locked in. I feel like I should have presented myself this way in the beginning, so, here I am,” he said. “I’m baring my all, just for you, together in this moment.”
“Let me introduce myself,” he continued, “My name is Guan, like the island, but spelled extremely different by about 8 or 9 letters. That’s neither here nor there. I feel the need to express it each and every time I introduce myself as it brings me into the moment, a moment such as this, a moment such as this, a moment such as this. I feel clear, connected, most of all kind, hopefully you feel the same. I’ll be your flight leader on today’s flight, accompanied by three of Atlanta’s finest. Looking forward to taking great care of you, doing your bidding as long as your bidding is good, that is, we’ve got you covered.”
Guan concluded, “Now, a safety demonstration will ensue momentarily on the screens in front of you; if and only if you can pay attention to that, we’d really appreciate it. Welcome aboard, glad to have you. Thanks again for choosing Delta. Glad to have you.”
He then repeated “Choose Delta” until his voice faded.
In subsequent TikToks, the announcements continued in a similarly unhinged tone, switching between practical information and a strangely spiritual vibe.

People Appreciated His Sense Of Humor
Many commenters appreciated the unique approach to customer service.
“He really wanted to be a meditation instructor but it never panned out,” one wrote. “He has captured ya’ll in a flying paper tube and he WILL show off his talents.”
“Did he announce this while sitting in an arm chair with a fireplace in the background, wearing a robe, and a cat on his lap?” a second asked.
“I love insane people,” a third enthused, while a fourth described it as a “Batman villain a– monologue.”
“He sounds like Colman Domingo,” a fifth remarked, “I think he knows it.”
And a sixth asked the question everyone else was wondering: “How can you spell Guam with 8 letters?”
Not All Flight Attendants Are So Friendly
Unfortunately, finding this kind of flight attendant is relatively rare. As previously reported by BroBible, some flight attendants can be a little more hostile. One viral TikTok, which was posted by Jenny (@vibrantsuntravels), recounted an occasion where a flight attendant snapped at her.
While eating on what appeared to be a plane, on-screen text read, “POV: You politely ask a flight attendant for a cup of ice and she snaps, ‘YOU NEED TO BE PATIENT.'”
“Everyone turns to look at you, and you just sit there chewing, stunned,” the text continued.
Jenny then asked herself, “Why is this STILL living in my head a year later?!”
Clearly, not all flight attendants have a sense of humor. Or, if this experience is anything to go by, basic manners.
