Disgraced rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been in jail since his arrest on September 16, meaning he recently celebrated his 55th birthday in the clink.
After being arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, Diddy was taken to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he will remain until his trial in May 2025.
Diddy turned 55 years old on Monday, November 4, and according to reports, the celebrations he had at the MDC were far different than the infamous parties he had been used to throwing.
“For breakfast, he received fruit, cereal, breakfast cake, and skim milk. His breakfast will be the same for the rest of the week, with coffee not available until Saturday. The lunch menu included pasta with marinara sauce, with a choice of meatballs or chickpea marinara. Inmates also received a garden salad with assorted dressings, whole wheat bread, fruit, and a beverage,” reports Fox News.
“With dinner, Combs will get the option of having either chicken fried rice or tofu fried rice. Black beans and carrots will be served with it, with more whole wheat bread and another beverage.”
On Monday, one of Combs’ children shared a video on Instagram of him and his siblings singing “Happy Birthday” to Diddy over the phone.
According to former inmates, life at the Metropolitan Detention Center — where he has been held without bail since his arrest on September 16 — is “pure hell.”
Diddy has pled not guilty to the federal charges filed against him. If found guilty, he faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison.
